We were delighted to welcome our Mayor Cllr Sandra Duffy to school today. On arrival she heard our choir sing and was impressed by their lovely singing.
She met a variety of our newcomer children who explained where they came from, interesting facts from their country, favourite foods and what they enjoy about the Model.
Thank you P5 and Mrs Polley for presenting their Harvest Assembly on stage which was fantastic. Two of our super artists presented the mayor with drawings.
A P4 pupil drew a line drawing of the Guildhall and a P7 pupil did a portrait of the mayor. These will now take pride of place in The Guildhall.
The tour concluded with a walk around the school and meeting the fabulous children in our ASC. Thank you to Miss Clifford for the musical accompaniment. Thank you to Daisy ,our Governor for being part of this today.
