We are very excited that our school is a hive of activity with many school building projects currently underway.
This is the result of a lot of work and persistence with The Education Authority which has finally paid off.
School Improvements
- Replacement of banisters front and back stairwells to meet required standards.
- Dry lining of landing area at the top of P6/7 stairwell. Workstation to be created for withdrawal groups. New sink to be installed.
- I.C.T. suite relocation project began on Monday 28th February. The large classroom/playroom at the end of the P3 corridor is being split into 2 rooms and totally refurbished to create an I.C.T. suite and a new playroom. This will be an excellent and much needed facility in our school.
- Dry lining & refurbishment of Lunch Room 2nd floor to create a new Nurture Room to begin after refurbishment of playroom.
- Business case for traffic management has been drawn up and awaiting approval.
- Funding secured for outdoor garden upgrade and further garden facilities.
- Mural is currently being painted in front hall.
Please be patient with us as we are very aware of the increased amount of vans, materials and skips parked at school.
This is unavoidable at the minute and we are hoping that these projects will be completed by Easter.
