We encourage all pupils to take part in the various sporting activites and coaching sessions made available to them, both during and after school. The school regularly takes part in local sporting competitions where those who have shown a good level of interest and ability are able to test themselves against pupils from other schools in the Derry area.

                The school is fortunate to have access to various qualified coaches provided by our local council. We also have parents and teachers with sporting expertise, who provide coaching both during and after school. Below you will see a list of some of the sports where coaching is available:

Soccer, Netball, Rugby, Gaelic, Athletics, Judo, Tennis, Boxercise, Basketball and Yoga

As mentioned above the school also likes to be competative in some of these sports. We have netball, soccer and cross-country teams who participate in inter-schools competitions. In recent years we have been fortunate enough to have achieved success in some of these areas.
